Free Stuff
Also to note on Windows PC Marketplace you can download a free weapons pack for Fable 3, no idea on the date on how long this offer will be though. You get one hammer "Bloodstone Bludgeon" and one rifle "Gusket's Musket", yeah strange names I know but still free is free! so get downloading if you have the PC version.
Finally Age of Empires Online is also free right now, get the main game for free but be warned if you are collecting achievements you can only get 300 of the 1,000. The rest of the achievements are tied into the paid for expansions and from what I'm hearing will cost around £75+ in total for the lot, that's an expensive game! anyway least the main bit is free so download it while you can.

The Daily Grind - Day Forty-Five (Part Two)
Evening one and all,
Had a really hard time trying to pick what games to play next since I've finished Brotherhood, got quite a few games to finish off along with a few games just for trophies/achievements. Also got two games from Lovefilm but they where off the bottom of my list so not sure I want to play them, got Sniper and Mafia 2.
In the end I decided to hop onto Dawn of War 2 Retribution, if you remember I had finished three of the six races campaigns and was in the middle of the Eldar one. So spent pretty much my evening on that and actually finished it so was very pleased, now just got Imperial and Orks to finish off then I've completed the game.
Course it was not the only game I've been playing, currently addicted to the new free browser game Resistance Fall of Man Global. It's an awesome strategy game set in the Resistance timeline where you help try and take over the world, the only down side to the game so far is that the Chimera force is massively out numbered by the Humans. They need to do something about balancing out both forces, anyway check out this link and take a look.
Did try and start God of War before I went to bed but I don't know, just did not feel in the mood to play it. Think it was because I was taking on one of the mini bosses and the circle button did not seem to work (works fine on my other PS3 games) so wondering if it was glitch in the game. Hope it does not happen all the time or I will be struggling with every boss fight.
Going to end it here and hit the sack, really tired and could do with catching up on sleep. Have a good one folks and I will try to update more regularly.

The Daily Grind - Day Forty-Five (Part One)
Afternoon,
Long time no see I know, been really busy again with the room (Still not finished) and been busy at work as well. Good news though, first up next week I'm on holiday for two weeks and one of those week's will be a gaming week. Second news I did sit down last week and finish off Assassin's Creed Brotherhood!! awesome game and the story is amazing just shame how they left it since I hate cliff hangars!
So starting this post off with doing a update to all my stats, progress pages etc.
According to my 2011 progress that was game number 37 which is awesome! but I have slacked a bit compared to the start of the year when I was doing 6-8 games a month nearly. Also it was on my Summer Challenge list which now means I've done 43% so far (6 out of 14) and it was my last prequel game too! great accomplishment there.
For the Golden Key Challenge it's brought one of my goals up to 80%, that's the one where I need to finish off five new games from Christmas. Tempted to work on the God of War collection since that would count as well and it's on my Summer Challenge list too.
So overall not bad thanks to that game but still a long way off from getting rid of that huge pile of shame (unplayed games).
Now before I talk about anything else I want to make sure I finally post this, over the last few days I've been meaning to keep update and other things just got in the way. The big thing I wanted to talk about is the fact I'm changing how my Daily Grind posts will work. I'm not getting rid of them, they will still talk about my gaming in the day etc but they will no longer have any new game announcements.
I want them to have their own posts with labels, so if you select trailers it will bring up all the posts with trailers, but you will not have to search through a long ass daily grind post to the find the trailer you want.
So that will be starting from today so expect a few more posts then normal from now on.

The Daily Grind - Day Forty-Four
Evening one and all,
It's been nearly a week since the last time I posted but I've been very busy (work, birthday and major tidy up of the mess that I call a room), so not had much free time spare for posting. So anyway hope you guys are all doing well and been getting plenty of gaming in, I've not had much time for gaming unfortunately. Did start the week off well by finishing off Starcraft 2 finally, woot!, but my progress in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood as pretty much stopped for the time being.
As I mentioned above I'm trying to tidy my room up since it's a joke and I want to have some space finally, also be nice to finally unpack some of those figurines I've got and have space for all the new stuff that is coming out. That and having a awesome gaming room in time for the new releases would be nice, place where I can relax and chill out while saving the princess, defeating a boss or two etc.
So with that I will warn you now, the next week or so there won't be too many updates like in the past while I attempt to get this huge job done, but I will make it my mission to get a giant update in now and again.
Back to the point about what gaming I've been doing this week, it started with Starcraft 2 being finished at the start of the week (think Monday if I can remember right), so another game to my clocked list. Which brings me up to 36 games completed this year, an amazing results for me to be honest.
It was also on both of my challenges this year as well, so woot! can finally update some stats and slowly make some progress towards some of those goals. For my Golden Key challenge its knocked my fourth goal up to 60% for completing five new games, just need to finish two more and that's one more goal completed. Then for the summer challenge it's pushed me up to five games of the fourteen completed (36%), so not bad but could do with picking up the pace a little bit there.
So overall good results with finishing that game off, the story was amazing and the levels where challenging yet fun at the same time. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the trilogy now and could do with going and playing Starcraft 1.

Finally I did start Assassin's Creed Brotherhood but not touched it in the last few days, but dang what an amazing game! just unlocked the brotherhood part where I can now finally start recruiting assassin's to my cause. It was so cool watching one of my recruits spring out of some hay as the mark ran past, looking forward to putting some more time into it.
Of course without blogging for a week there is a lot of stuff I want to talk about, especially with all the new stuff being announced. First will have to start with the announcement from yesterday, R2-D2 themed xbox!!! omg! seriously looks amazing and I want one now.
Love the C3-PO controller as well, its even got the wire details around the edges and top it all off the console makes R2 sounds when turned on. Comes bundled with star wars kinect, white kinect sensor (looks very nice), kinect adventures and some exclusive dlc as well. Price is set at £350 right now so no idea if I can afford it, especially with me still wanting the gears of war one as well!!. System link would be cool though but think might have to go through everything I want this year finally and decide on what to do.
You get the following in this edition:
- Figurine of Darth Malgus
- Collectors artwork box
- artwork book
- authenticator
- soundtrack
- Metal case with game discs
- galaxy map
- journal of master gnost-dural annotated by satele shan
- extra 7 dlc items as well
- - flare gun
- - training droid
- - STAP vehicle
- - Mouse droid
- - collectors edition in game store with a assortment of items
- - holodancer
- - holocam (says that it records visual of your in game adventures which is awesome if its the way I think it is)
On that note I'm going to finish here for the night, there is a lot more stuff I want to talk about but I really need to do a bit more tiding before I hit the sack. Hopefully I can knock out another post over the weekend but until then have a good one folks!

Review: Uncharted 2 Amongst Thieves
StoryA wonderful story of the missing fleet of Marco Polo including elements of Shangri-la just to make it that more interesting. Let's not forget a ruthless Warlord and betrayals.
Every minute of the game I found myself drawn into the game wondering what will happen next. The writers had this nailed down, it was perfect.
Controls
Exactly the same as the first one with improvements and as I keep saying, don't fix something that is not broken. Of course there was improvements on the stealth take downs but they could do with a little more work since a lot of the time I found myself failing to grab the enemy to only get spotted.
Length
I want to say short because I really did not want the game to end to be honest, but the game is the perfect length with 26 levels you will be playing for hours on end. There was no moment where I thought this level was too long or too short, but I still wish there was more and just glad Uncharted 3 is this year!
Graphics
100% stunning, when they say it's like watching a movie it really is. The action scenes, background, hell every detail is bang on amazing. Got to be one of my beautiful games I've played In a long time.
Gameplay
Every bit of this game is amazing, there was not one bit I was bored with and it really went to town with some of the levels. Being chased by a truck to have it explode from your gun fire then nearly topple on you, to a mad dash through a village with a tank every minute of the game was great.
One level still stands out to me and that was when the cameraman gets shot and you have to carry him through the ruined streets while being chased, it was amazing since you only had a pistol. Every time you go down a alley there was a chance you could get ambushed, you really felt in the moments as you dodged into apartments while doing your best to keep the guy alive.
And word of advice, the A.I is a lot better too! these guys know when to take cover, dodge and to flank so don't think you going to get tons of headshots like in Uncharted 1.
Last Thoughts
Outstanding game! it's now in the top 10 games, I would recommend it to everyone to least give it a chance because this is a game you need to play! Trust me, if there is one game you must play this year, this is it!
It's that good I want to give it more then 10 out of 10, its a 50!
Uncharted 2 Amongst Thieves(PlayStation 3)
Score: 10 out of 10
Gameplay: Good
Graphics: Good
Story: Good
Length: Decent
Controls: Good
The Daily Grind - Day Forty-Three
Afternoon all,
I know there as not been any posts for a while but I have been quite busy so not really had chance to sit down and write out a post. So far today all I've done is the daily quests for Warcraft and that's it, hoping to have a nice marathon of gaming in bit since I have the weekend off. Thinking of finishing off the rental game Megamind then starting Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, tomorrow I'm meant to be playing Starcraft 2 on the night with some mates from work so could do we booting that up again to get some practice in.
Anyway just had my lunch so going to play a few levels of Megamind first
Thanks to that I've not got my second Platinum trophy for the year and knocks me up to 40% towards my Golden Key Challenge goal of five platinum trophies this year. The game also gave me the following trophies: 1 platinum, 7 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze so not a bad haul this time around. In fact it doubled the gold trophies I've earned this year so far.
Right can do with a cup of tea right about now, so going to take a five a minute break.
Now what you ask? well I'm going to go test out Agarest Generations of War on the PS3, its an anime RPG that I bought ages ago. The prequel is coming out at the end of July, I was going to wait but they did announce a collector edition which is quite cheap (£29.99 instead of the normal £39.99+) but of course I don't want to order to have it arrive and find I don't like it. So thought be best to play for a little while and try out the first one and see if I do enjoy it.
In fact there's no time like the present
While I was sorting out that pre-order also found out they releasing a normal edition of Xenoblade without the red classic controller which is awesome, if you remember in one of my earlier posts I was not too happy having to fork out the extra money since I had a black classic controller already. So now changing my order to the box standard normal edition which is £12 cheaper, happy days! that money can go towards something else.
Done and dusted, ordered Xenoblade and while I was doing that also put an order down for the Uncharted 3 special edition. I will cancel that order once they announce the Explorer's Edition, but just in case they change their mind and don't then least I'm covered.
Right enough ordering I think it's time to check out Warhammer 40,000 Killteam on the arcade, been looking forward to it for a while now.
Anyway going to stop for now because I want to have a quick play on Starcraft 2 then to jump into Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, got a couple of hours spare before I need to start getting tea ready for me and Lynn.
Starcraft is currently updating since its been months since I last played, might be here a while so I could get on with writing out some of those games reviews I've been promising. Oh wait never mind the update just finished lol I will do the review later.
According to my profile the last login was the 2nd February at 00.01am dang!
Anyway finished the game around ten minutes ago and have been writing up the Uncharted 2 review which I just this second posted up, I'm not going out of my way to make a perfect critic review it's just my thoughts on the game. Since I've got around an hour before I need to do the tea think I will jump on Brotherhood finally!
Have a good one folks and I will see you tomorrow no doubt,

The Daily Grind - Day Forty Two
Morning all,
Busy day today with Killteam being released on the arcade, next phase of the firelands quests in WOW should unlock for me and of course 2-3 levels away from finishing Uncharted 2.
Nothing major to report this morning to be fair, well I don't think there is anyway since I cannot see anything on twitter or the news feeds. Just drinking a cup of tea right now and loading up CivWorld to see what's happened while I've been away.
Actually maybe not since the blasted thing won't connect, oh well moving on I think it will be best to get the dailies done on World of Warcraft first. Very excited to unlock the next phase, as I said the other day I will be going with the Druids of the Talon since I'm guessing that will open up flight type missions which would be awesome.
It was pretty cool area that as opened up but I was expecting a lot more flight missions, I understand why there isn't since flying in the firelands is hard thanks to the elements. Basically can now earn around 30 marks a day, so it will take this time around five days and so that means around Sunday/Monday for the next phase. The quests are pretty cool but mostly involve killing fire phonenixs and other monsters, catching eggs as well which I'm guessing will lead to flight missions later.
Did get really disappointed earlier, found one of the new rare spawns when doing my mission and could not take it down. It was only one level above me and I can understand it was a elite boss but still I had no chance, got it down by 30-40% health and it just owned me. Knew I was a bit poor playing my class but not this bad, really could do with getting some better gear to improve my stats so I have a better chance. There is always next time I guess, well knowing my luck I won't see that spawn again.
Anyway with that done and over with I'm going to jump onto Uncharted 2, sure I was on level 24 and I just found out there is only 26 levels in total, so I'm in the end game now. Would love to clock this game today, in fact that that's my goal. Enough talking anyway time to game!
That turned out well, loaded up and died...when I saved I just cleared this large room but the save must only revert you to the last checkpoint which was the start of the battle. Making my way through the room again now and just got my 30 kills with grenades trophy for my trouble.
Schafer as died thanks to Lazarevic...pay back time!
Man that area was annoying, I died on the roof while taking on a group of guys and it then respawned me on a balcony right next to them. When I finished them off a massive group of heavy armoured military spawn with a rocket launcher and grenade launcher for back up. Five times it took me to finish them off by charging close and grabbing a grenade launcher off the floor.
That was luckily and awesome at the same time, the next area contained two guys with full plate armour and mini guns. Had several grenades left in the launcher and found a rocket launcher, then when they died a huge wave appeared but still had ammo for the rocket launcher and of course now got the gatling gun!
Well Uncharted 2 is finished and love the ending, was not expecting that at all. Loved every minute and could not stop playing it, I really do feel ashamed with myself for not playing this sooner. If you looking for a good adventure game with a great story then look no futher because I recommend everyone to try this game out, its in my top ten now!
Anyway with that done I think it's time to update my challenges and progress for the year to see how I'm doing.
For my year progress that was game number 34 that's been completed, very chuffed with that! and I walked away with one gold, four silver and thirteen bronze trophies. Not bad to say I was not going after trophies in this playthrough just to enjoy the game instead, will have to go back and work on the missing stuff at a later date. Would love to get a platinum on both Uncharted games.
On the summer challenges that was number four and leaves me with 29% done, but to be honest only Assassin's Creed Brotherhood matters since Oblivion is not really a direct prequel. So one more game to do and I'm ready for all the sequels that are coming out this year!
On that note I better go get ready and leave for work, will catch you all later so see you soon!

The Daily Grind - Day Forty One
Morning,
Just been reading twitter and Killteam is coming out this Wednesday! very awesome! cannot wait and the best bit is I don't have work until the evening so I will be able to play it straight away. Speaking of work I've got to go soon but finish early afternoon so I will be able to fit in plenty of gaming in later. Also I need to get a few blog posts done this afternoon, also I need to sit down and look at the upcoming games that are coming out. Really need to decide which are must buys and which are not, Reason being I put down nearly 60 pre-orders the other day at work and that was not including the big specials editions I've got on order...so yeah really need to take a look.
Since I've got a bit of time before work I'm going to attempt to do all my dailies in WOW, leaves me with more time later then.
Done that was really quick since no one was really on, so I was able to get all my kills and heal all the wounded without having to compete with everyone else. Currently standing on 147 marks so tomorrow will be the next phase without a doubt, just three more marks.
Back from work and just had my lunch so going to jump straight into Uncharted 2 for a bit, best way to relax after work. That and I cannot wait to continue the story!
Working my way through the snow and found a gun so I know that means I probably going to have to fight that yeti soon, ohhh a teasure :)
Well after four deaths finally got passed the Yeti thing just won't die, so in the end had to keep just dodging and wait to be grabbed so could shoot it in the face which seemed to be the only time that it had any effect on it.
Moving on now and found another treasure, seriously who would want to continue with that thing about.
Currently in a giant shrine, well whats left of it anyway and working my way across several giant cogs. lol just jumped on this rope in the middle of a giant drop and as I was swinging the button came up for a treasure, clicked it and got the treasure (number 20) and unlocked the Novice Hunter trophy at the same time.
Made it to the bridge for it to only get destroyed, so had to cross hell of a lot of cogs and chains which was very cool and made you think on your feet. Loving this area so far
Oh bloody hell that was an heart attack, made it into the central shrine and found we was trapped with two of those bloody Yeti creatures! Had to hold them off while waiting for the lift, it was Uncharted 1 with the ladder all over again.
Heading back to the village which as been attacked, why do the bad guys always know where to find you.
Starting chapter 19 and oh sweet a crossbow!!! one hit kills that are silent, nice weapon shame on the lack of ammo though.
Damn its a full on seige, every building is swarming with military but just got my 50 kills with one of the pistols trophy thanks to the amount of guys here.
LOL just turned a corner as I made my way through the village and ran into a guy with a riot shield, so took cover while he took pot shots at me, then when it was my turn used a grenade launcher on him.
Ok no fair! they have a tank now!
Found a rpg finally so used it then went to get the next one and nothing, where the hell did that guy drop it. In the mean time just got my 70 kills with the M4 trophy.
Ah ha! it was on the other roof but now need another one, mad dash across roof tops while being chased by a tank, now thats a good game.
Just got the 100 headshots trophy, currently in the middle of a ... well guess I would call it a car chase with trucks on the edge of a snow cliff. I've earn't a few trophies so far and still not budged from that 1% on my PSN Profile level.
Nice now the current owner of the grenade launcher turret on one of the trucks and just got the triple kill with explosives trophy. Also forgot to say I'm currently on level 21 by the way! too much excitement right now to write.
How the hell did they survive that crash! and saying it now Nate and Elena are perfect for each other.
Ok just got a silver trophy called Master Ninja (50 silent kills) that had got to push my percent up, woot! it did but only up by 1% so now standing on 2% lmao what a joke.
Ok got caught, so killed everyone then more came from the top?? wtf that's where you start and I cleared that area...*Sigh* hate spawners, doesn't give that real feel to the game. Forget sneaking I've had enough time for guns blazing!
20 Kills with the pistole trophy
Hmmm think I got everyone, this tower had a small army garrisoned inside it but they stood no chance again Drake.
Well after 20 minutes of huge gun fights, sniper battles, destroying towers I've made into the monastery main part, a giant open courtyard. Of course that means a huge ass fight will happen now, luckily I can hang back at the entrance which as cover and only one stairs up to it. so should be good place to bunker down and to defend from.
Made it through and it was quite easy to be honest, few snipers and couple small waves nothing like I was expecting to be honest. After that I had several fights through several large buildings then stopped for the day, about to go cook a nice tea and then spending the evening with the girlfriend so doubt any more gaming today.
Before I go there as been some new stuff posted up, a conspiracy trailer was put up today for Deus Ex. This game looks amazing and cannot wait to play it at the end of August, check it out below and see what you think of it.
Hope you all having a good day gaming anyway and a good week as well, see you all soon and have a good one!

The Daily Grind - Day Forty
Afternoon one and all,
Hope you all had a great weekend because I sure did but it's Monday again so back to a brand new week. Another quiet week for releases since Earth Defence Force IA got pushed back to next week now, so more time to catch up on the games I've got.
This morning I did play some CivWorld and still not getting my head around how the game fully works, maybe I should read up on it to be honest which would probably help. But anyway going to get some time in now with World of Warcraft first then jump over onto Uncharted 2.
Out of the entire list that was the one I was not expecting today when I first came up with the challenge since I rarely play on my PlayStation 3, course that changed with playing Resistance and Uncharted. Very happy right now and better go update the stats.
So that's one of the eight goals finished and it only took me 7 months to do lol, bit worried now that I'm over half the way through the year. Anyway back to Uncharted 2
Xbox360achievements.org are reporting that there will be a demo for Mass Effect 3 in a few months, normally I don't like playing demos for games I want since it will spoil something but they are reporting that there may be unlock able stuff for the main game. Count me in!
Wait there was unlock able items for Dragon Age 2 by playing the demo, I did not know that! wonder if that still works, have to check the demo out later. Just add that to my to do list and then get back into Uncharted 2
When I get back I do want to play but will have to see on how late I get in, will have to do tea etc anyway see you all later.
Anyway with that time for bed, night all and have a good one!

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Nine
Afternoon,
so hope everyone is doing ok, been busy all morning getting up yesterdays post and been trying out google+ so not had much time for gaming. But that will change starting now, first up before I even go into anything about news etc going to go play World of Warcraft and sort out the daily quests for today before I forget.
Think I will pop on CivWorld for a bit, was really getting into the other day and hoping I've got a few more harvests now. Got a few new houses and gathered some more resources, still trying to get the hang of it to be honest.
Finally after ten minutes at least of updates I can now play and got to say love the opening scene and the title of the first chapter "Between a Rock and a Hard Place".
Nothing like hanging off a cliff in a wrecked train to get you started, oh Nate how do you get yourself into these messes.
A lost fleet of gold that mysteriously vanishes, you guys sure know how to get me hooked! love a good treasure hunter story.
Right just got into the museum to rob it lol and found my first treasure, a Byzantine Gold Coin which also unlocked my first trophy. Just did a little bit of climbing and found the second treasure, Glass Evil Eye...spooky.
Another treasure lol Ottoman Ring, finding these quickly and in fact I saw another one sparkling while the cut scene was on.
Sneaking my way through the courtyard and taking out guards, finally found the treasure I saw in the cut scene which was a Silver Amulet Box so that brings me up to number four already.
ah feck got caught lol
Hmm keep getting caught, must be a way around those two guards without getting seen. Ok try again and see what happens, ohh just unlocked the bare knuckle brawler trophy
Ok got past it by doing a very quick sneak attack on the balcony, have to remember that in the future. Tranquilizer guns now, should had these at the start to be honest...ohhh at treasure on the roof, can see the shiny from here lol.
After climbing up several walls finally made it to the treasure and it was a Ivory Chess Knight which now nets me the sixth treasure.
Oh damn you Flynn! what is with Nathan and his good friends lol time to make a run for it, ohh wait a treasure lol Antique Pipe so now on number seven.
On chapter three now and Sully is back woot! missed the old bugger, going to save up for now since I need to get on with a few jobs.
I'm now on chapter 5 and in Nepal, my god this game is 100% awesome! working through the jungle it amazed me on how good the graphics where, especially walking through the jungle water. The fight scenes are a lot better and love the finisher combos, then the truck chase scene at the start of the Nepal level was mind blowing. I really am ashamed of myself for not playing this earlier, this is why I want to play the 2011 games on day one when I purchase them because I keep missing out on gems like this!
Two pro gamers duking it, MC vs PUMA and I was on the edge of my seat cheering for MC, started off with Puma getting two wins then MC pulled one out of the hat for PUMA to take another win leading with 3:1 then out of no where MC dominates pulling it back to 3:3. Unfortunately it was not to be and PUMA won the last match winning the tournament, honestly amazing matches and wished they did a eighth match. First prize was $50,000 and second prize $25,000 dang thats a lot of money, anyway you can watch the tournament videos on the league website here! might have to make time to watch the other rounds now.
Right that's it for tonight, take care all and I will see you tomorrow morning so have a good one!
~Iznic
The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Eight
Morning all,
From now on I will be posting the date at the top of the post for which this grind post is for, reason being this post is for Saturday yet I'm typing it up Sunday morning. Also in the past this has happened a lot where I will put the post up the next morning since I was too tired to finish the last bit. So anyway on to the post!

Time to check the Pokedex and see what Pokemon I get today, wtf! Trubbish...seriously? it's a bin bag with rubbish coming out the bottom, come on really? did they run out of ideas?
On that note I'm going to play some Pokemon Black finally, still cannot believe they made a
Tympole level 20
Roggenrole level 19
Pansage level 20
Pignite level 20
Currently have two gym badges so might as well start with getting the next badge.
Pignite just hit level 21 thanks to a battle with one of the gym trainers.
--------------------------------------------------------
Omg! if that rumor is true it will be awesome, just read on twitter that for Star Wars Kinect they might do a special edition Xbox and Kinect done up like R2-D2....awesome! and dang it! already got my eyes on the Gears of War Console.
--------------------------------------------------------
This gym is really weird, its a like an art gallery but covered with honey and even the doors are honey that you have to pass through. Just leveled up Tympole to level 21 as well thanks to another trainer battle, usually make sure to clear out all the trainer battles in a gym before fighting the Gym leader so I get plenty of exp.
--------------------------------------------------------
Time for the gym leader fight, taking on Burgh a Bug pokemon trainer.
Dang is first Pokemon is powerful, its called Whirlipede and its doing some damage. It's taken out my Tympole so far and now Roggenrole is up but should be ok since it's health is low, never mind its not now thanks to hyper potion. Hate when that happens
It's down for the count and Roggenrole is level 20 now thanks to that, next up is a weird looking bug Pokemon called Leavanny. Ouch! Struggle bug move just took my Pansage out with two hits, time to throw in the big guns, Pignite is up.
So hate hyper potion, did a flame charge which left it with 2% health then it did a hyper potion so took a further two attacks to finish it off but left Pignite with 20% health left but the exp was awesome and leveled up twice! now on 23.
Time for the last Pokemon and it is...Dwebble think I will stick with Pignite for the time being.
Maybe not just got took out so sending out Roggenrole who is my last Pokemon
--------------------------------------------------------
Finished it! and now have the Insect Badge bringing me up to three badges now. Hmm just had a call from my character friend Biannca who wants another battle, might as well then can stop there since got work soon.
--------------------------------------------------------
That was a close match, was down to my last Pokemon Pansage with one health left! but did get it to level up to level 21 thanks to the battle, she kept using Potions over and over again. I try my best not to use potions or anything like that, although I really should. Anyway time to get ready for work so will see you all later.
--------------------------------------------------------
Just popped on for a quick update, going to watch a huge marathon of How I Met Your Mother with Lynn so no gaming tonight. But the reason I did come on to update was thanks to earlier at work, picked up some really amazing bargains. First up the GAME sale is now on and was able to pick up Dead Rising 2 for the PC for only £7.98, the achievements stack as well so could not resist for that price to be honest. The best bargain was this, Little Big Planet 2 collectors edition pre-owned for £17.99...oh and it was sealed! very awesome so had to buy it.
Anyway better go, so have a good one folks and I hope you all having a great weekend of gaming until tomorrow, have a good one!

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Seven
Well been a weird morning, started off with trying out the Civ World beta on facebook and so far its not bad but it's taking some time to get into. After that I'm banging my head against the wall, seems they decided to push the date forward for Xenoblade on the Wii, no longer the 9th September but instead the 18th August.
So now I don't know what to do, if you remember my argument was I must play all new games I buy starting Deus EX and the whole point of the summer challenge was to get the prequels out of the way ready. Was not expecting some of the games to come out earlier and give me less time, hmm so in two minds now.
1. Do I keep the rule as starting with Deus EX and Xenoblade might get put on the shelf for the time being
2. Push the date forward and Xenoblade be the first game, in which meaning less time for the summer challenge.
Feck! will have to think about it over the weekend
Also Dragon Age 2 is getting some new dlc called Legacy, set in a grey warden prison where a great evil is being held. Looks good and reminds that I really need to play both games still
So not a bad morning for upcoming games, well except that date change! anyway think I'm going to go do my dailies on Warcraft since got work this afternoon/evening so no time for gaming later.
All sorted now and just had my lunch, unfortunately not long before I need to shoot for work. Taking Pokemon Black with me for the weekend since staying with the girlfriend tomorrow, will try and get a daily grind up but depends on if I have trouble again.
Will be sitting down tomorrow and make some plans for some new posts for the site, already need to do reviews for Green Lantern and Professor Layton. But I want to put the list of 2011 games that I've got so far, if you ever read my stats you can see the total number but no clue on what they are so I want to sort that. Also could do with updating the game of the year list so far, see plenty of things to do and little time to do it.
On that note I better run so take care and hopefully catch up with you guys soon
have a good one

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Six
Well I feel like hell, was sent home after an hour of starting my shift. Terrible migraine that ended with me throwing up and being useless, so all morning I've just been sleeping and feel much better now but not exactly 100%. Hoping I will be back to normal later or tomorrow after a good night sleep.
Anyway you want to hear about gaming not my woes, well I woke up to some good news! Gears of War console!!! that's right Game as posted up the console on their website for orders now (Exclusive). Of course my order was put down straight away soon as I saw it, check out the beast below
Costing £270 it will come with two pads, a copy of the game and a 320gb hard drive. Looks awesome but really need to sit down now and work out what the total cost is for all my orders at the end of the year lol, excitied anyway! Finally the last piece of update from twitter was Civ World, basically Civilization for facebook and it looks really good. The trailer really sold it to me and now checking out, hmm well from the trailer it sounded like it wasn't ready but just got the app lol will play it later once I feel better since I've still got part of a headache. By the way if any of my readers will be playing this game give a shout so we can put a nation together!
So that's it for now on new stuff announced, just checking my 3DS and no street pass hits today which makes sense really. Do have an update waiting for the Pokedex though so checking that now, this time it's Swanna.
Well I'm going to go take a rest since I'm still not 100% and don't want to be staring at a computer screen making it worse, catch you all later.
Going to try out Civ World for a bit now, ok maybe not since I keep getting a error saying cannot connect to the server.
That reminds me I took a look at the Thor achievement list earlier since I was going to attempt to start it today or tomorrow morning, have you seen it? its bloody long and insane. I know it was going to take some time since no reselect levels so would have to keep reloading save points and check points. But when I looked at the achievement list there is a ton of stuff needed to be done at certain points and easily missed, I really do not have the time for this since I want to clock all those games by the end of August. So going to send it back and either pick it up cheap or re rent at a later day.

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Five
Woke up to find one hell of a collectors edition announced, please please bring it to the UK!! check out Lord of the Rings War in the North collectors edition for the USA below.

It looks amazing! I want one!
You get the quiver looking case, art work book, dvd containing inside look of the music for the game, ranger avatar (xbox 360) suit or for the PS3 a digital theme and of course a copy of the game. Also they listed up a ton of pre-order bonuses for different stores as well, check out xbox360achievments.org for the full story.
Shortly after writing the above I went and played some Professor Layton before shooting off to work. Came back and played some more Professor Layton, so I can now say I've clocked it!
It was amazing! another brilliant game in the series and the story kept me hooked all the way through, the ending was very sad though...
I can safely say this game is in my top list and will be kept with the others, no way in hell will I ever trade this in. Very excited now to get my hands on the last spectre to see how Layton and Luke met, and yes it will be a day one purchase and must play. Not many games can keep me griped and suck me into the story but the Layton series does.
Now that I've completed it I think it's time to update my stats again, so be right back while I go update the pages.
That was game no.33 for this year, on a roll and need to keep it up. In fact I was thinking earlier before work on what I would play next, I do have the rental game still sitting on the shelf for the last few weeks which is Thor for the xbox. I wanted to fully 100% clock this game but I have heard it takes two play throughs and one must be the super hard mode which can be quite difficult on some of the boss fights, of course that means it will be time consuming and I do have my summer challenge ending in less than two months.
Think my plan will be to play Thor and clock the story, send it back then re rent it at a later day when I have more time for a second play through. I do want to sit down with Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood so think those will be the next two after Thor.
Speaking of the summer challenge I did read that Skyrim does not take place shortly after Oblivion and is in fact 200 years later, so don't really need to clock Oblivion yet. Don't get me wrong I really do want to finish that game but I was worried there would not be enough time with all the prequels I need to work on.
Right caught up with my dailies in World of Warcraft, currently sitting on 79 marks now so about half way to the 150 mark.
Going to check my 3DS street pass hits now, fingers crossed for the last piece of the puzzles from the store DS. Two hits and one of them is the store, woot!!!
So that's it then and I've finished all the puzzle panels...kinda sad now, no more collecting... I do hope they update with some more. No luck on the street quest thanks to that shield ghost again so going to go check the Pokedex and then call it a night. Pidove is my new Pokemon today
Anyway that's it for tonight, too tired and got work first thing so catch you all later

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Four
Yes I'm very very late in doing this post but everything went against me today! first work covering most of my day then coming back and having to do a lot of paperwork and research for work meh! only just finished so sorry folks.
Finger's crossed for tomorrow to have more hours spare for gaming but anyway back to the present, the night is not over yet and I am determined to get some gaming in today. For example I need to get on with my Warcraft dailies and I really want to put some time into Professor Layton since I'm hooked on the story right now. So on that note time for some Warcraft quest grinding!
Oh yeah before I forget again I did an update to my list of games I want this year, thought it be wise to check to see if anything had changed like price or dates pushed back. Quite a few where pushed back a month but a lot more have appeared with dates now along with entirely new games I did not know where coming out or forgot about.
First up Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 as turned up and is listed for 18th November which currently is the last game I want for this year, completely forgot about it coming out to be honest. Also Lord of the Rings War in the North as been put in November as well, currently sitting on the 4th so its right in between Uncharted 3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Three triple A games in less than a week, ouch! costly. Team ICO collection is dated for the 30th September which made me cringe since that's just shortly after Gears of War which is a costly day.
Also I found two games I want in July! Agarest Generations of War Zero which is coming out end of July, Shopto.net are taking pre-orders for a collectors edition with art cards etc and only costs £29.99! in fact going to go pre-order it now, but need to play Agarest Generations of War really to make sure I'm going to enjoy this one.
The second game is Earth Defense Insect Armageddon, the first one was...I don't know how to describe it, it was a weird shooter, want to say arcade in a way. Bloody hard at the end of it from what I can remember but I did enjoy shooting giant ants etc and taking on robots/ufos...it was just all round weird game. Wish I had not traded it in to be honest
So plenty of more games to spend my money on and no doubt there will be more announcements soon.
Think I need to sleep on it because right now I don't see the point in the collectors edition, if it was a game I really really enjoyed then no problem (Gears of War, Halo, God of War, Mass Effect etc). Never played a Deus EX before and don't get me wrong I probably will enjoy it but I don't think it be on the level for me to warrant to spend £30 on a figurine for it, so might stick with the £60 augmented special edition that still gives all the extra in game content plus sound track, artbook and motion comic.
Anyway enough of pre-orders for one night, going to go play some Professor Layton then hit the sack.
----------------------------------------------
Time for street quest now, this time my adventures cleared one room along with one blue ghost and two armoured ghosts. Was not able to move on after that thanks to a ghost with a light blue shield, hate these guys! so anyway that's it for the 3DS today.
Well that's it for today folks, need to hit the sack since I'm tired and got work again tomorrow. Very excited to know I will be finishing the 3DS puzzles tomorrow, anyway have a good one

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Three
No daily grind yesterday I know, well actually there is part of one sitting in my draft section but I did not feel like it was a good post, so what happened yesterday will be mentioned here with today's.
It was a good day for gaming for a lot of reasons, first up I tried out the beta for Uncharted 3 and it was pretty sweet. Spent most of the time playing Co-op Arena mode with Adwil which I realised later was the first time we actually played a game together. Known each other for a year at least, spend most of are time if not all of it talking about games and now only just played a game lol need to change that and make into a regular thing.
Anyway while I was playing the beta I did come to conclusion that I will not be working towards the unlocks for retail, I loved playing the mode but I will be getting the game for single player mostly. If I do unlock anything then great but if not, I'm not going to be fussed about it.
The weekend is also doing a ton of exp events in a load of games so I did jump onto a few but to be honest I felt like I was wasting my time and could put the effort on the games I really need to play instead. For example I tempted Halo Reach daily challenges achievement, it requires you to finish all the challenges for the day. Must had spent at least four to five hours and still had two challenges out of the five left, so decided I will keep an eye on the daily challenges and wait for a easier day (if there is one).
So on that note I jumped onto Bulletstorm, to be honest it was quite late in the evening when I booted it up and was not expecting to get anywhere with it. I was lucky though and realised there was only few levels left, so spent the last few hours of the day just having a giant marathon. Thanks to that Bullestorm PC is now finished! don't want to spoil the ending so if you want to know what happens go and play it.
Anyway with that I'm going to go update my stats for the challenges and my year progress.
Bulletstorm is number 32 for games completed this year and the 11th new release I've clocked, bad thing is though I picked up Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 so my percent did not rise a lot thanks to that (currently sitting on 28%). Also the game was on my summer challenge list so that was number three of fourteen so 21% completed so far, not going well to be honest since end of August is the deadline and got quite a few large games to play.
Currently standing on 51 tree marks after that run, so 10 days is about right really. Had to laugh though, one of the quests has you go out and heal wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Of course there is only a few of that spawn and a ton of people trying to do the quest. Spotted one wounded npc spawn so started to run over and this orc hunter decided to his fast speed buff so he ran past me, would had been annoyed if I wasn't a druid who could heal from a far better luck next time idiot!
No pet from Lord Ahune so that's another year without any luck, oh well maybe next year...

The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Two
Having a really bad start today thanks to my left ear being blocked, so right now I cannot hear anything and it's really getting to me. Anyway back to the blog, as I said in yesterday's update post I was not able to post Friday's update so instead it will be merged with Saturdays. So check out below for both days...
Next up is street quest 4th play through, still stuck on the ghost with the yellow shield. Was able to do a bit of damage on him thanks to fire and poison magic, did change the store Mii to a yellow shirt so hopefully tomorrow I can finish this ghost. Just checking out the trailers for some of the upcoming games on the 3DS, nice to be able to download trailers now but I have just noticed my 3D video movie trailer as vanished? how odd.
With that done time for some Warcraft, hopefully today I should unlock the second phase of the Fireland quests.

Unlocked the second phase of the Firelands invasion as you can tell from the screenshot above, basically the Druids have moved into the elemental plane of fire and taking the fight to them. This phase is pretty much all about establishing a base from where we can work from, the quests involve defeating elementals and fire druids along with healing allies and setting traps.
So far I've really enjoyed it and I did Ahune again but still no loot though, shame. Anyway ended the game once all my dailies was done since I'm running out of time before I need to go out.
Saturday
!!!!!!!!!!!Spoiler!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I'm off to work so catch you all later!
1. one Ghost (Yellow Shield)
2. one Armored Ghost
3. one Blood Ghost
Also on the puzzle got one more piece to the Super Mario Galaxy 2 panel, very close to finishing now.
