Facebook Trouble

Afternoon all,
Just finished work and had some dinner so it's time for a small rant before I get into any gaming, so if you follow my blog on Facebook you would had seen my panicking messages this morning. If not then well here is the full story, Facebook as blocked blogspot.co.uk along with a few other country versions (hearing Canda version is blocked too). So when I tried to link my new post this morning I was shocked to see a blocked warning come up saying blogspot.co.uk is blocked because and I quote "its spammy".

So someone must had spammed links to their blog and they decided to block the entire blogspot community for it? I would clap but I don't want waste any time of them, also "spammy"??? really??? that's a really professional error message you got there. So I quickly sent a report off which actually made me laugh when it asked why I think it shouldn't be blocked, I was tempted to say stop being petite and blocking Google products but I was not in the mood for that can of worms today.

Anyway what made me really interested was the fact my blog is not .co.uk but in fact .com, so a quick look up on good old Google and I found others are having the same problem to the point that it was deleting any old messages on their Facebook page that contained the blocked links. Checked mine out to find all of my April and May posts gone, the words "Rage Quit" come to mind when I saw everything was gone.

There was a nice few people on the message forum who explained what had happened, seems blogger will change the URL when you looking at the blog to your country specific address. So even though my blog is .com since I'm in the UK I will see .co.uk, of course when I post my links I just copy and paste. Now for some reason over the last few days Facebook as been blocking the country specific ones but leaving America alone (.com) but they did have a few work arounds which includes editing the link before posting which I did this morning for my new post. Worked like a charm, woohoo! have that Facebook.

Plus if I click the share button that would work too, I did not have chance to check that out since I was late for work nearly *grumble*. But my good mate Wes from VGI did a test earlier and was able to share the post link so that's confirmed to worked as well.

So overall everything is kinda of sorted for now, still lost two months worth of posts plus all your comments gone but least ... well I don't know how to end that sentence, still peeved off with Facebook and that sums it up.

I'm off to go do some gaming now and let some steam off

Almost Time

Good Morning Folks,
Thought I do a nice post before I rush off to work, got a nice cushy shift mid-day which then leaves me with rest of the afternoon/evening off along with tomorrow. Looking forward to next week with E3 and very excited to see what's left to announce, especially since everyone seems to be putting up the trailers early and giving out all the details now.

Added bonus to next week is I've got the week off! nice full week of chilling, would like to say it's a gaming week but don't think that will go down with my girlfriend. Also on Sunday it will be five years we been going out, achievement unlocked right there!.

So this week news, hmmm Minecraft, followed by some Minecraft and finally a pinch of Minecraft. Nah just kidding, well only slightly kidding since I have been on Minecraft a lot but there was other games too. Yesterday I had a co-op night on Ghost Recon Future Soldier which turned out to be a huge pain in the ass, only got the prologue and first level done. My friend kept getting kicked out of the game same the server as disconnected which means we had to start the level over, last one was at 11.30pm so we gave up especially when we was 10 minutes away from finishing the level. Hopefully the next time we try it will turn out to be better and this time we can do more then a level.

Also I forgot that the DLC for Batman Arkham City was out, as you can imagine I dropped everything to go play. Story was not bad and I love all the little easter eggs they added and I cannot wait to see if they do a sequel now, maybe a E3 announcement? yeah I know it's unlikely but one can hope. While I remember I will go add the DLC to my complete list, wow that was number 30 for the year! score!. Getting there folks and I mean I'm hoping to do better then last year although I'm still sticking to the philosophy of just playing for fun.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Rest of the week is going to be playing Minecraft, Dynasty Warriors 7, Ghost Recon and if I can find time I will do some more Diablo 3. Ah feck I just realised when was the last time I did a MMO night, actually that really is the truth I don't remember the last time so hang on going to check out my post history to see the date. Good lord it was the 5th May and I did not do Star Wars so I've gone nearly a full month without playing so that was a real waste of money. Think I still got time left on my time cards so need to check that out and sort it, think I will do that later in fact and just make a note to remind myself.

Also I will be posting another Minecraft Episode post very soon I promise, especially since I'm sticking with one world right now and begun a giant project which involves a floating castle in the sky. Dang did not realise the time and I better go get sorted for work, right folks I will catch you later and I promise to update more since I want to get a few things done before E3.

Have a good one folks,
 ~Iznic

P.S. Don't forget to comment on the blog or the facebook page with what you been up to, always up for hearing what my readers are up to. Plus any feedback about the blog good or bad is welcome.

Not Fully Awake

Morning Readers,
Seriously struggling to stay away right now since I stayed up playing games last night, I had one epic co-op session yesterday that involved Minecraft and Diablo 3. I would like to post up some pictures of what we built but we didn't really make anything other then explore the world and dig a huge mine with a mine cart going into it. It was fun non the less and we now have plenty of resources from the mines to build what ever we want, once decided that is.

Diablo 3 is awesome! mind blowing good but I had a ton of problems on my machine, according to "Can I run it?" my machine can only do minimum and not recommended. CPU/Motherboard and my Graphics Card need upgrading, I was right annoyed until I remembered that my last big upgrade was over four years ago so yeah it's been a long time needed. So need to look into saving some cash so I can do a new upgrade and when I do expect blog posts of me building my nice new gaming machine. Anyway I got most of the bugs sorted but now and again I do get a black screen for a second with a freeze then it jumps back into the game, I can bare with it for the time being since its not that often.

Was playing a Barbarian and got up to level 10, as I said I'm really hooked and need to start a solo character to play on so I can enjoy the story line since it was rushing through the dialogue. I do have regrets now for not getting the collectors edition, especially when my mate is running around with the angel wings on that you get in the box.

Apart from that nothing else to announce, actually wait that's a lie right there I forgot I never posted on Friday or Saturday about the new releases. Yeah I blew my entire amount of my gift cards to pick up all these lovely goodies, think it cost me 12p in cash after my gift cards was used.

So far I've only started Ghost Recon which so far I'm really enjoying, I've got to the third mission and I do have to admit that it as got a lot more linear compared to the past ones. But the graphics, story and game play make up for it in the ways that is awesome, I love the tagging system where you mark enemies and your squad lines up the shot and await your command to fire. Makes life a lot more easier and I am getting into the story, won't spoilt it but it is good so far and easier to follow.

Need to try out the multi player since that is what I bought it for, the Ghost Recon series was one of the games that got me into co-op. In fact it was Splinter Cell Pandora's box that really started it off, playing co-op with my mate Adam. Anyway I'm determined this week to get some time on Dragons Dogma and Rune Factory so stay tuned to see some information about them later this week.

On that note I think its time to update the blog stats and see how I'm doing on my challenge this week, don't expect anything amazing but I did get a few achievements in Ghost Recon and I did start Dynasty Warriors 7 too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gutting I forgot to add Diablo 3 to the 2012 list next so with these three as well now I'm up to twenty games bought for the year, dropped down to 30% completed so far from 38%. Not worried yet since still got over half a year to clean up, of course November will kill me like normal lol.

Oh my god I forgot to say I clocked Captain America in the week, yes my rental is finally done woot! so another Platinum for my collection. Cannot believe I forgot all about that, so yeah that was my fourth Platinum trophy for the year and xx for all time, also it brings my score up to 29 games completed this year so getting there. Although one of my friends on twitter posted up they just did their 54th game, seriously how much free time they must have ... actually probably more like no Minecraft addiction lol.

Time for the week 18 stats to be done then and I'm expecting this week will finally hit the 2,000 gamer score a week mark.

Week 19 - This week
Starting Total: 137,039
To Earn: 2,030
Achieved: 0
Difference: -2,030

Week 18
Starting Total 136,874
To Earn: 1,974
Achieved: 165
Difference: -1,809

Week 17
Starting Total: 136,504
To Earn: 1,953
Achieved: 370
Difference: -1,583

Total So Far -
To Earn: 29,765
Achieved: 10,760
Difference: -19,005

Ouch! knew I would hit it this week but was still dreading to see it, I'm getting close to ending this challenge and just continue to play and enjoy games while trying to get some completed. Next week should see me behind by at least 20,000 gamer score as well, just getting crazy now lol.

So my plans for this week is to play my new releases, least put an hour on each one then I think my focus will be split across a multiple of games. I would go into detail but not sure what will happen so keep an eye out for future posts, although it probably will be Ghost Recon and some Dynasty Warriors 7 at least.

Anyway on that note I'm going to shoot and finish updating my stats page then going to play around on some games, have a good one folks and I hope you all had a great weekend.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Thought it was about time I talked about the announcement, don't think I need to really go into much detail that the game was announced a few weeks back. Think everyone and their dog knows it was announced with the amount of advertising going on.

Got to say I am impressed so far with what they are doing with the game, nice to see they trying some new things instead of keep doing the same thing over and over again. I'm hearing the single player story is not linear and you given a slight choice with the progress, very interesting to see how that will turn out.

I'm also a fan of the future setting but got to laugh at the people who are not buying it because it as horses in the future, maybe they should replay Black Ops and remember the flash backs then read the announcement about the 1980 setting.

Anyway enough ranting, I like the idea of the robots, drones, mechs etc and the fact control is lost, think the setting could lead to a very good story if done right. Also I am fan of the fact its the future but not that far away plus nice to see the guns using bullets still and not lasers like most people want. Don't think it would be right if they did it like that, I can accept experimental laser weapons now and again but the whole game nah just not right.

Going to wait and see how the E3 stuff goes, hopefully see a lot more information about the story and see some game footage. Also hearing multiplayer is revamped and a complete new zombie game done from the ground up. That being said I did pre-order it from game and got this very cool double sided poster, took a photo of both sides so you guys can see it.

My favourite picture
Also got a prestige token for Modern Warfare 3 which I still not done any multiplayer on yet, still got my bonus pre-order exp for it and Call of Duty Elite not used with the maps waiting to be downloaded. Really need to sort that out but I can do that another day, anyway who's picking it up? or you on the fence?

Minecraft Episode 2

Where to begin this post, it was probably one of the most epic co-op sessions I've ever done! me and two friends for nearly eleven hours of Minecraft fun. The plan was to play on Easy mode and survive the monster attacks while building anything we want, we had already worked on the map before and built a small house on top of a mountain.

The idea was to build a giant tower with a platform on the top where we could build without fear of attack, so that's what we did! I spent most of the time working on the platform while my mate Mike made a huge ass mine and then my other friend Jay decided to build a giant bridge to our old house which happened to be on the other side of the map. Reason being if we died we would spawn back over there then it took nearly a day to travel back to where we was working.

It was a lot of fun and my god we had some strange things happening, Jay's bridge is crazily long and takes several minutes to cross. Think he was planning to add a rail way to it so it would take less time to cross but the lack of Iron ore got to him in the end so I'm guessing that will be for another night.

The Long Bridge
Mike's mine goes right down to the bed rock and expands out, includes plenty of lava pools too! To make it easier I built a huge wooden tunnel in the air that covers the entrance then connects to the roof of the house we was working from. That way we could travel at any time without attack and then since it worked so well I had a second tunnel built to connect the tower to the house. In fact I did start a third tunnel on the platform that travels to a nearby mountain and started working on a second mine, funny story I thought I had found a natural cavern so had the lads come back me up but turned out it was just a small cave with nothing to worry about. As we turned to leave two creepers appeared on the stairs, the words "Panic" came to mind lol.

The Platform, Mining Tunnel and House
As you can see in the picture above how it turned out,the lava came from under the platform is connects to Mike's lava tower house thingy (no idea what to call it) which I will put a picture below. You can see the mine tunnel on the left side in the air that connects to the mine. Oh yeah and that's Jay super tree on the top, a lot of threats where made when lava was mentioned with that tree lol.

This is the start of my Wizards tower which caused quite a few problems. Original the waterfalls where lava and yeah I set fire to most of the trees below. Then when I put water down it turned the lava into cobblestone so the water went over it and expanded so it flash flooded the area. Yeah I was not a good person for the environment, I really thought Mike would be the one to cause that much trouble.

Anyway the giant balcony is the future sight of my new greenhouse since the old was too small and not producing enough wheat, going to create some water tunnels inside using glass but that's for another night. Oh yeah just left of the picture is a water fountain that keeps getting squids spawning in, also had several mid air floating ones thanks to it as well. Thought the lava fumes where starting to get to me when one floated by.

That's is the lava tower thingy that Mike was making, as I said no idea what he was doing with it other then its cool looking and very close to the super tree. Also how the hell did a Sheep get up here! yeah we keep getting random spawns and we did get a few Creepers magically spawn as well, that was fun since the platform floor is very thin so it involved us running around shouting "don't let it blow up!".

Finally we have Jay's glass castle which is very impressive and think he will be adding water or lava in the top at a later date. It was one hell of a marathon and great fun, we did do a Nether portal in the end (reverted the save file back) but that ended up with fireball throwing ghosts and zombie pigmen trying to kill us with gold swords. Scratch that they did kill us and we put the save file back to before the portal was built, need to decide on what we doing with that.

So that was it folks, plenty of creeper attacks, thousands of blocks mined, random buildings, floods, fires and everything in between plus a sheep! cannot wait for the next co-op game now.

Weekly Roundup

Morning folks,
Well looks like blogspot is back to normal so I can now get on with the posts finally, got at least two today since I had a epic 10 hour marathon of Minecraft with some friends on Sunday so I'm going to cover that next. Currently trying to update the challenge stats but I just this second noticed that the TrueAchievements website was not up to date and in fact the last recording was 15th May. I use that website to keep track of my progress for the year and it comes back with the average gamer score I need to earn each day which I use to work out my weekly target. So with it being out of date for so long this means the stats I did on Thursday where out of date in the ways of what I need to earn, oh well lesson learnt I just need to pay attention more and anyway I think the scan is done so going to take a look now.

Week 18 - This week
Starting Total 136,874
To Earn: 1,974
Achieved: 0
Difference: -1.974

Week 17
Starting Total: 136,504
To Earn: 1,953
Achieved: 370
Difference: -1,583

Total So Far -
To Earn: 27,791
Achieved: 10,595
Difference: -17,196

Yup it was out of date but not by much, the average before was 284 a day and its now 282 so only a small drop but it does add up overall in the long run. Last weeks points mostly came from finishing the story of Sniper V2 and doing a few of the Plants vs Zombies achievements, have to say it's a lot harder on the main consoles compared to the Vita version.

Hmm not sure where my achievements will come from this week since I have no Xbox game lined up, still playing Captain America on the PS3 and trying to do a level or two a day. Might see some achievements at the end of the week with Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Dragon's Dogma since I'm picking them both up. Might go through my collection in a bit and see if I can pick something to work over the next few days, although I have been thinking about starting Dynasty Warriors 7. I will not get that done by Friday since its a very long game but I could start getting the ball rolling on it.

Oh yeah I should be starting Diablo 3 this week finally, still not tried it yet just installed it and that was that. Friend of mine is picking it up so we going to do some co-op on it, in fact think we planned for tomorrow so I need to re-organise MMO Night and get that back on track.

Apart from that folks not much else to talk about other then not long now for E3, think I'm going to call it for now and get on with my Minecraft Episode post.

Have a good one folks,

Darkrai Download

Morning Folks,
Something I nearly forgot again but there is another Legendary Pokemon to download through the Wi-fi. This time it's Darkrai and for Europe Pokemon Black and White, so make sure to download it A.S.A.P since there is no end time been announced yet.

Darkrai
The download is to celebrate the release of the new trading card series "Dark Explorers" and he comes with the moves Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Faint Attack and Nightmare. Also comes as Level 50 with the item Engima Berry.

Just downloading mine now since I missed out on my Pokemon White last time, even bought the game to do it! just forgot the end time was a week away and though I had to unlock the mystery gift which you don't *sigh*.

Anyway that's it for this post folks, catch you all soon!

Minecraft Episode One

Afternoon all,
Instead of gaming just before work I thought it was about time to try and catch up with some posting. One thing I been wanting to do all week is chat with you about Minecraft which is my latest addiction, I really never thought I would get into it this much. I remember seeing things for the PC version think that's cool but not so keen on the graphics and now I just know it gives that awesome old style touch. Reminds me a lot of Dungeon Keeper 2 which I spent hours on building huge dungeons then would explore using the possession spell.

Only problem I've got with this game is the fact there is too much I want to do with it, I have several projects on the go and plenty I want to do. I've been exploring google and youtube checking out the amazing projects people have done on the PC and it's given me so many ideas, it's unreal whats been made.

Anyway I want to talk about what I done so far then chat about my future projects and I will be doing a post series on the blog keeping you guys up to date with everything. Of course if you are on my friends list the worlds will be open so you can always come have a look and explore.

My first world is where I spent most of my time and got most of my achievements, I nicknamed it the learning world since everything I built there was to see how things worked. Got a huge mining network on the beach and a giant tower that splits off into smaller one that kind float.

It was also where I found out about Creepers for the first time, at the time I was running on easy difficulty since I never realised there was a peaceful setting (without monsters). Unfortunately one morning I stepped out to find a Creeper below my house, so I quickly ran back inside but the bugger gave chase and waited outside my door and would not move.

So in the end I realised I would have to fight it and of course I did not know they exploded! it was good thing I jumped back when I heard the hissing noise but I did lose the entire front of my house.

Creeper Attack
Since then I have learnt they disappear at noon so next time I will wait to then or create a back door to escape. After my experience I decided that I would attempt a second world and was very lucky to get a great mountain range. I wanted to build a giant keep on the top then a wizards tower on the large pillar of rock (See the picture below). But I don't know what happened really since in the end all I did was make the base floor and deleted the save. Think I had too many ideas and just gave up on that one, also I was starting my third world which I was going to make into my main world.

World Two - Wanted the tower on the left and keep on the right
World Three was going to be it for me, I wanted to do the hardest achievement in the game and that's the 500 block railway. So I spent an evening reading up on how the rails worked and watched several youtube tutorials. The day before I attempted this world I went on a friends house which I got to say was amazing, he had this giant tree house with a great looking home with a proper huge mining network system that was done up. So with some of his ideas I got to work on my third world, my plan was to make a giant two floor house with a balcony. It would have a fenced garden so I could grow food so I can switch the difficulty up later.

Also planned to make a giant rail network around the world so I could explore the place quickly, this idea then turned into having a train station with several levels. Finally the last plan was to attempt building a Saurens Tower from lord of the rings using glass and lava for the eye.

As I said this world would be my main one so I was going to have several projects being build on it but in the end it did not go to plan.

I built the house and a giant watch tower so I could see across the land, I did quite a large mining network but the problem was the resources did not appear. To make the rail way for the achievement I needed around 190 Iron Ore, 18 Gold and plenty of Red Stone. So in the end I did a massive open mine in the mountains which turned out to be lucky since I stumbled across the biggest natural cavern I've seen to date which gave me plenty of resources.

So the track was made and I even got it to loop back to the house so I was chuffed about that and I learnt a lot on how it worked. I did start to make the train station but I gave up since I found something else I wanted to make, few days after finishing the track I saw a great Minecraft Castle picture. It was a dark looking castle that was floating in the air with waterfalls coming off it, of course I wanted to give it a go. World four was born and with it my plans to make a giant floating keep, but I did not delete world three since I can let friends login into it to ride the rail way for the achievement and I can dig up the tracks to use in different experiments.

Anyway back to World Four, I spent way too long building a giant house to work from and began construction on the castle. I wanted to start from the top down so I started with the throne room, plan was to have the throne room in a glass dome on the top so the king/queen could see the world.

All the time was spent having to put cobble stone and sand in the furnace so it turned back to stone instead of cobblestone since it looked better and of course glass. Took hours but I did get it done in the end as you can see in the picture below.

But I hit a dead end when I started digging out underneath which would be the Royal Chambers, it was too small! then when I started to think what else rooms I wanted I realised I should had started from the bottom up. So World Four is now currently sitting in my save files untouched for the time being and World Five was born, this time around all I built was a bed (so I can get the day faster), two furnaces and a work bench. Right now it's going well with the grand entrance stair case done and the kitchen made, the upstairs banquet room is currently being worked on plus the entrance hall.

Early Picture, most of the back is done now

And that's what I've been up to so far in Minecraft, I do have a co-op save which I'm working on with two friends. Got a nice medium size house on a mountain but nothing major to speak of, I do have a plan I want to run past them but I have been thinking about doing it solo as well since the results will be different. So stay tuned for another episode very soon if I can pry myself from playing long enough.
~Iznic

P.S. Would love to see anything you guys been working on if you have Minecraft, both xbox and PC

Harley Quinn's Revenge

Oh my god how good does this look? I was worried about playing as Robin since I'm not a big fan of Catwoman but this trailer just made all my doubt disappear. Love the combat moves and especially where he stealth takes down two guys using his staff.

This bad boy is arriving on the 29th May so around two week to go! so anyone getting on day one? I know I will be.

Running Late

Morning,
So I'm nearly a week overdue with my post but I got here in the end, my Minecraft addiction took over but it's under control for now. Of course thanks to my week of non stop gaming on Minecraft and the chaos of my social life the week before that I'm really behind with ... well ... everything!

My Captain America (PS3) rental is still in it's unopened envelope that I had a few weeks back so that's costing me right now, still not got any further with Sniper V2 and I want to trade that in next week for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Also not done a MMO night in over two weeks now and still not got onto the beta for World of Warcraft Mists of Panderia.

Picked up Kid Icarus last week to give it a shot and that is now currently sitting on my desk sealed along with Dynasty Warriors Next for the Vita. Oh and just before I got into Minecraft I was getting quite far into working towards the Platinum trophy for Plants vs Zombies on the Vita, was doing all the side games etc.

Think I need to go bang my head against the wall for a bit since I got too much to do in such a little time. First I think it's about time I updated last week stats which should only be the 400g I got for clocking Minecraft, yeah it's not shocking I got that finished last week but it was nice to have my first 400g arcade game.

Week 17 - This Week
Starting Total: 136,504
To Earn: 1,953
Achieved: 0
Difference: -1,953

Total So Far -
To Earn: 25,838
Achieved: 10,225
Difference: -15,613

Just archived the last four weeks stats and they can be found on the challenges page. Last week did see me hit just short of 500 gamer score so not too bad I guess but I can see next week hitting 2k to earn each week. But I be more happy if I can catch up on my gaming and oh dear lord I forgot I got Diablo 3 to play as well, told you I was massively behind!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I guess it would be wise to do a battle plan for what's left of this week, think my focus will be on finishing Sniper V2 ready for next week. After that I have no doubts in my mind that I will be on Minecraft since I got several projects on the go currently. Building a giant fortress in world one, world two is co-op survival fun and world three is survival solo.

Right I'm off, going to go update my stats pages then hit Sniper and hopefully I can report later that I did at least two levels.

Have a good one folks

Weekend Events

Morning folks,
Sorry for the lack of posts this week but I've been addicted to Minecraft on the Xbox 360, in fact I will be on there again in a bit but first I need to take care of a few things. I will have some posts up in the week talking about my adventures and plenty of screenshots as well, anyway lets get back on topic and its the fun pact weekend today.

First up its Calendar Man day again in Batman Arkham City (Mothers Day in America), so don't forget to visit him in the basement of the court house. That's one more date done towards the achievement or trophy and the next one is June 17th Fathers Day (America) so make sure to mark your calendars after you done listening to his tale.

Next up is the last multiplayer operation in Mass Effect 3, this time the community goal is to kill 3 million Banshee's which will unlock a pack in the week. The personal goal is once again complete a gold challenge map which I don't see myself doing so I'm not going to bother (took me 10 hours plus with a friend just to do a silver). I'm also hearing the PlayStation 3 users can take part in this one but I'm not sure if that is true or not.

Finally Gears of War 3 weekend event is Torque Bow Tag under the versus Forces of Nature list, you will need to have the forces of nature dlc maps to play this event. It's team deathmatch and only one round long so it won't take too long to get the ribbon, just play until the end.

So that's it for now and I'm off for Minecraft, have a good one everyone
~Iznic

P.S. Just heard Battlefield 3 is having a double experience weekend, wish I had time to give it a go but no doubt I will be in Minecraft.

The Daily Grind - End of a Week

Morning Folks,
I swear these weeks are going by too fast and I still cannot believe I'm doing my weekly Monday post again. Been another busy week but this time I did get a lot more gaming which you all should know from reading my posts. Very proud of myself for finishing of Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City (PC) this week, they where part of the three games I wanted to finish off before I did anything else. Right now my attention is on Sniper V2 which just came out last Friday, it's not a bad game but does a few annoying game mechanics. Anyway my focus is to clock it this week and probably do all the co-op with my mate, after that I will either go for the full 1,000 gamer score or trade it in while it's still high trade in value.

Think it's time to update the stats for my challenge and this year's progress page, so with Kinectimals (WP7) also been clocked this week it means I've done three more games this week so I'm now up to twenty six games completed for the year. Not bad so far and I am now just at the half way point to matching last year for the games completed. Also thanks to Mass Effect 3 I'm now up to four of the 2012 games releases completed but I did add two more to the purchase list, so now on 31% so again not a bad number.

Week 16 - This week
Starting Total: 136,009
To Earn: 1,904
Achieved: 0
Difference: -1.904

Week 15
 Starting Total: 135,364
To Earn: 1,848
Achieved: 645
Difference: -1,203

Week 14
Starting Total: 134,699
To Earn: 1,820
Achieved: 665
Difference: -1.155

Week 13
Starting Total: 134,359
To Earn: 1,778
Achieved: 340
Difference: -1,438

Total So Far -
To Earn: 23,934
Achieved:9,730
Difference: -14,204

I am shocked with this weeks results due to the fact I thought the score would be a lot higher with the fact I clocked three games this week, was expecting around the 800 marker. Oh well it's not the end of the world, anyway time for me to shoot since I need to get ready for work. Would like to say I will be posting later but no promises, until then have a good one folks!

The Daily Grind - Catching Up Edition

Good Morning Folks,
Sorry for the lack of posts the last few days but been busy with some gaming and of course work, thought I would start this post off with whats been happening with the week.

Heading back to last Wednesday my "MMO Night" did not really go to plan like I had hoped, once again I was not 100% but I did get some time on World of Warcraft. But after a few hours I was too tired to continue so I missed out on Star Wars in the end. I spent most of my hours doing the Childrens Week holiday event which involves taking a orphan around Azeroth to see the amazing sights, buy treats and play with toys. Each quest ends with a in game pet reward with several to choose from which lucky for me I have now finished all of them and completed the collection, all I need was the pet rat and the Wolvar pup which I both got. Hopefully next year they will update the quest line with the release of the new expansion, if not they did add pet biscuits which make the pet grow several sizes if you already have all the pet rewards and the gold is not bad for the amount of work you have to do either.

So that was it really for my MMO Night but since then I have been busy with my gaming and I'm happy to say I've clocked Kinectimals on my Windows Phone (the full 200 gamer score). Then last night I finally did the ending for Mass Effect 3, at first I was like everyone else with me nearly shouting "WTF?!?! is this nonsense". But after watching a few very impressive theory youtube videos I've calmed down, if they are true then I'm very very impressed with what Bioware have pulled off. It's unlike them to make such a bad ending but we will see what happens with the extra stuff coming for the ending later on.

With that done and dusted for the time being all I have left now is to finish of Batman Arkham City on the PC which would mean I've done the three games I wanted to start off with. I have the day off today so I'm thinking a giant marathon although I did pick up Sniper V2 so I do want some time on that later since I promised myself if I was to buy it then I had to play it.

I've also picked up Pure Chess for the Vita which so far I'm really enjoying, the graphics and details of the chess pieces/board are amazing, worth the £5 price tag which to me is very cheap for what you getting. If anyone as this game on their Vita give me a shout so we can play the chess by mail feature.

So that's it really for me folks, nothing special to report this week other then the few games clocked. I will be heading off now to go update some of my stats and lists, think it will be safe to say this is part one of many today.

Anyway for the time being have a good one folks!

New 3DS Colour

Very early good morning folks,
Seems Nintendo are releasing a new colour for the 3DS in America, Midnight Purple and my god does it look beautiful. Doesn't help with the fact it's one of my favourite colours as well, seriously if they announce this for the UK I would probably buy it straight away. Would I keep my red as well? probably yes since I love the metallic red colour, no idea what I'm going to do when the Limited edition Toad one comes (won the Christmas competition).

What's worse when I looked into the images for the purple 3DS there is a orange version and a green version as well, both very nice although I think the green is the better looking of the two. The orange one I think I would need to see in person to judge it.

Anyway hopefully the Purple 3DS will be announced soon for the Europe/UK Market because I want it, what are your thoughts on the new colour?
