Last Week

Morning folks,
It’s been a while since I’ve really last posted on here but the last few months have been chaos for me. It was coming to the point getting spare time to write out a blog post was becoming impossible. It’s even made it a struggle to get game time in the last few weeks as well.

Anyway good news I will try harder to at least get one post done each week to keep you folks up to date, plus I really do enjoy talking about games here.

So I’m not sure what to cover in this post or where to start since there has been a ton of new announcements since the last time we spoke. In the end I’ve decided to focus on what my thoughts have been this week concerning my gaming life and go from there.

Of course this week is all about GAMESCON which has pretty much all I’ve been talking about this week with the new announcements. Started off with the Tomb Raider 2 announcement about it being exclusive to the Xbox next holiday season. That really shocked me and I was floored by the news, of course with the wording “holiday exclusive” it was crystal clear that it was a timed exclusive but still shocking. Keep hearing Crystal Dynamics was scared of Uncharted being released so it does make sense to target the Xbox market while Uncharted comes out then do a second release later on for the PlayStation fans.

Also on that day another item was added to my buy list and that was the amazing limited edition Xbox One console in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare theme. I love the three colour scheme with the gold trim and to be honest it doesn’t really look like a Call of Duty theme which is probably why I like it so much. Plus the added bonus of a 1TB hard drive is a must since I found out the day that my Xbox One hard drive is at 41% full. I’ve barely got anything on it and with so many games coming out in the next few months I think I will need the upgrade.
I’ve put the order down anyway and I can decide closer to the date if I need to cancel but right now I want to upgrade. After Tomb Raider and the Xbox One the last thing on my mind this week was the World of Warcraft announcement. Think every fan has been awaiting for the announcement for the release date and finally on Thursday we had it. 13th November we will see the release of Warlords of Draenor along with the awesome looking cinematic trailer for the expansion.

All through the video I was shouting “you cannot do that”, so many questions to be answers and could we be seeing a full alternate timeline to play around with. Blizzard could go full force with this and bring the Burning Legion into it in the next expansion, messing around with time opens up so much stuff to play with for the future expansions I just cannot wait to see what happens.

Shortly after announcing all this the physical collector’s edition was put up finally after months of waiting, everyone knew it was coming but of course we had to wait. Although we did have to wait nearly a day to confirm that collector’s box matches the rest in the series. Check it out below but I will be picking this up on day of launch.

That’s it for me today folks so have a good one folks,

Few days left

Afternoon folks,
I cannot believe we only have about what two maybe three days before it's E3. Time has really flown by this year and I cannot wait to see what exciting announcements will happen this year. But of course it's not all happening Monday, it's the lead up to E3 so there is usually announcements and leaks so I want to get this post in with a few new things that has happened over the last few days.

First up Witcher 3 had it's own conference where you got to see some amazing gameplay and a really nice collectors edition was announced as well. Check out the full conference below...

So what do you think? I never really sat down with the Witcher series in the past but I have heard some really amazing things about them. I think this one I will have to give it a shot and I am tempted for that nice collectors edition, little expensive though is the problem. I just love the amazing artwork on the steelbook and the huge figurine, not sure where it would go though since my shelves are full right now with mostly Assassin's Creed. Still got work out where the new Assassin's Creed figurines will go this year.

Luckily though it's not coming out until 2015 so plenty of time to decided on if I want to get it or not, probably the only time I will say I'm happy about a game coming out next year.

Onto the next game which is Battlefield Hardline which has pretty much been confirmed now, launch trailer was posted up by EA the other day giving a taste of whats to come. They did put in though its coming this October so I was a bit shocked about that, I thought we would not see another Battlefield this year. Anyway check out the trailer below to get an idea of things to come but so far all the rumours about the game is coming true.

Will I get it? not sure right now, it does look like a cool upgraded Payday game but I really want to see more of it before I say I will buy it. Not sure about tagging the Battlefield name to it though? why not just stick with the Hardline title.

That's it for this post and I will try for another post or two tomorrow if I can get the time, if not then it will be on Monday. Until then have fun folks and I will see you all soon.

Child of Light Deluxe Edition Unboxing

Afternoon folks,
Feels strange doing another post so close to the last ones, unlike me to be organised for once. Anyway I've picked up Child of Light earlier and it's currently installing so I thought it be a great time to do a unboxing post while I'm waiting. So let me introduce you to the Child of Light Deluxe Edition...

This is the PlayStation 4 version which does with the PlayStation 3, the main game of course is a digital game so it's just a code in the box with the extra goodies. Normally I would not go out of my way to get a special edition for a game I'm unsure about but the price was just too good, the game by it self is £11.99 while the deluxe was £15.99. So for an extra four pound for a keyring, DLC, artbook and a poster it was a bargain.

The poster is made of a better quality paper and the artwork is beautiful, but I do find the princess a bit freaky. Not something I would go out my way to put up to be honest but I will give credit on how well it was drawn and done.

The rest of the box is taken up with the packaging holding the light up keyring which is based on the companion in the game. Not tried the the light yet but it is cool, might hang it on my bag with my Elderscrolls Online key chain. Does remind me of the Dragon Quest slimes in one way when I look at it.

Finally we have the small artwork book is which only a few pages, I was not expecting much since the price was cheap. The cover is just normal card but the artwork inside was great, check out below for a photo of just two pages (my favourite images of course).

Of course I do have two DLC codes for the Dark Princess skin and the golem pack, not sure how they turn out yet since I'm still waiting for the game to install but I will get a screen shot up soon. Will give a shout when I add it to the post later. Anyway that's it for this special edition, not the biggest one but I would say it was worth the four pound in cost for it. Hopefully the game will turn out amazing and expect a post tomorrow or Friday from me about how amazing it is. Until then have a good one folks and hope you enjoy your night.

Batman Arkham Origins Trailer and Collector Editions

Gamescon is in full swing right now and of course plenty of new trailers for the upcoming games have started coming out. This one below is one of my favourites which introduces Firefly to the mix of villains in the new Batman Arkham game. Plus the fact you get to see a lot more of what you will be up against.

Try and tell me you not excited to play this game? seriously cannot wait for October so I can get my hands on this. But this is not all the news for Batman, last week while I was on holiday the special editions was announced and shown off.

This awesome collectors edition is for North America and I'm hearing Australia as well. Seriously gutted to hear that because that has to be one of the best figurines I've ever seen. And yes there are LED lights in the TV screens behind the joker. This bad ass collectors edition comes with the following goodies:
  • Deathstroke challenge pack
  • Joker Figurine
  • Collectors box
  • Batman Wanted Poster
  • 80 page artwork book
  • Batwing prototype schematic
  • 1st appearance Batman skin
  • Glow in the dark map of Gotham
  • Anarky logo stencil
  • Wayne family photo
  •  Assassin Intel dossier
  • Villains of DC documentary DVD
  • 2 key pieces of evidences from the Crime lab of Gotham Police department
One amazing collectors edition that is for sure and I really hope they change their mind and release it every where else as well. Anyway the second one is for Europe only and is very similar to the leaked one we saw a few months back with some changes, I'm guessing the changes was done on purpose thanks to the leak.

As you can see the figurine base as changed a lot and now Joker is no longer holding the joke gun. The box and steelbook as also changed in design from the leaked version. Anyway onto the list of goodies for this edition.

  • Deathstroke challenge pack
  • 30cm high figurine
  • 80 page artwork book
  • Assassin Intel dossier
  • steelbook with 3D effect
  • Collectors box
  • 1st appearance Batman skin
The steelbook new design is pretty sweet and I still like the figurine but I did prefer the leaked version over this. In the UK this edition is also exclusive to Amazon.co.uk so my order is down with them right now, hopefully it won't be too much of wait to get it delivered.

So what do you guys think of the new trailer and collector editions? happy? excited? drop a message with your thoughts.

Batman Arkham Origins Collectors Edition Leaked

Looks like someone as leaked the collectors edition for the new Batman Arkham Origins game, check out the image below which looks very real and less likely to be a fake.

Look how awesome this is! soon as I saw the picture this just went straight to the top of my want list. Holographic collectors box which looks amazing plus look at the 3D steelbook case for the game. About time they did a true steelbook for the game, the Arkham City was too flimsy and easy to dent.

Of course that is probably not what you paying attention to right now and instead drooling over the figurine! Batman holding Joker in a threatening way yet Joke with the classic joke banner gun and laughing. It's brilliant and blows the Arkham City one out of the water by far. I need to make space on my shelf for this beauty, a day one must buy and I cannot wait for pre-orders to start.

Gutting though because I was trying to cut some costs down earlier since my want list is huge, another collectors edition I was not expecting. Argh why doesn't money grow on trees!
~Iznic

P.S. Now for the long wait for official reveal and see who is taking pre-orders and for what cost.

God of War Ascension Collectors Edition Unboxing

Thought it would be a good idea to get another unboxing post up, this one has been on the cards for the last few weeks now. This is the God of War Ascension Collector's Edition, it contained the steel book special edition plus the extra season pass and Kratos figurine.

The box was just simple cardboard design with the golden dark shadow effect that's been used for the theme through out the advertisement campaign of the game. On the one side you could see the front cover of the steel book and the other side shows the figurine it self.

As you can see in the top picture there was some assemble required when it came to the Kratos figurine, both arms needed to be attached. I was bit disappointed with the figurine it self due to the fact the plastic was quite cheap, the figure was painted nice and the detail was good. What was really annoying though was the arms had to be slotted onto pegs to be attached and who ever did the design cut the peg shape wrong on the one arm. It took me nearly thirty minutes to finally get the arm on and I had to use a knife to cut the shape inside better. This was a huge mistake on their part and when you forking £80 out for a edition like this, this should not be happening.

Another thing you will notice is that on the head is a red dot where a bit of paint was splashed, I've ignored it and counted it as blood but overall I really expected better quality control. Least it still looks good on my shelf with the rest of my collection. So other then the figurine in the box was the special edition which was a steelbook case with several DLC included (plus the season pass for the collectors edition). In the way of the DLC it was all multiplayer bonuses and the soundtrack, so lets skip over that and talk about the steel book.

Steel book Cover and Slipcase

The outside is just black with the God of War symbol and a slip case cover for protection, the inside though had some amazing artwork. It features two warriors from the multiplayer mode and I loved the work gone into the drawing, I would preferred this on the cover to be honest.

Steelbook artwork
Overall it was an ok Collectors edition but I really did not feel like I got my money out of it, a lot of the bonus DLC was multiplayer in the ways of XP boosting. The season pass content has not gone live yet, well I don't think it as but there is no options on the menu to find out in the game. Guessing I have to complete the multiplayer tutorial to find out. Anyway I'm getting off topic, nice steel book and the figurine was just ok but could had been a lot better. Not the best collectors edition out there and if I was given a choice then I probably would had just picked up the special edition instead. So that is it for my short unboxing today folks, I will find a much nicer collectors edition to talk about next time but until then have a good one.

Rome 2: Total War Release Date & Collectors Edition

Well it seems September is now starting to fill up with new releases as well, with Kingdom Hearts being added to that time slot the other day we now have the new Total War joining it.

I love the Total War series mostly because I love to start up a Skirmish map with several thousands troop on the screen and duke it out. I really could do with trying out the singleplayer story more but that's for my to do list. Anyway the release date was announced as the 3rd September and will be a world release so that's pretty sweet. Also if you watched the trailer you will also see that for pre-ordering you get the first DLC pack for free.

The Greek States pack offer three factions to play with their own units, buildings, tech tree, missions and win conditions. I would love to play the Sparta but I think everyone would since how much attention they have had in the movies and tv shows.

Big that got me was the announcement of a collectors edition, normally the games come with a Limited edition that will offer extra DLC. Sometimes they do come in a nice looking box case and then with Shogun 2 we had a chess set which was ok, mine was broken when it arrived so I was never able to keep it.

This time they have gone to town with it and the collectors edition is also numbered with only 22,000 being made worldwide.

In the UK this is exclusive to GAME and can be picked up for £109.99, just put my order down for one last night as soon as they started. So what do you get in this great edition? well a nice giant box that looks stunning with the Roman eagle. Steelbook case for the game which looks so nice, my steelbook collection is getting some nice additions this year. Also since they putting a number on each edition it will be done in Roman Numerals, the little details always gets me.

You get a working catapult kit to put together, meant to be around the 26cm mark so it's not a small thing. Canvas campaign map from the game as well and finally two games to play as well. First a Punic wars card game in a total war style art work and a set of replica Roman dice and roundels which the collectors box can be opened to make the playing board for. No idea how to play these two games but I cannot wait to give them a try.

I'm very impressed with SEGA and this collectors edition, they have really out done themselves with it and although the price tag is quite high it makes sense with what you getting inside. Especially when you normally have to fork out £35 for a board game these days. So yeah I've got my order in and I cannot wait to play it.

Beyond: Two Souls Special Edition

Steelbook
Say hello to the limited edition for Beyond: Two Souls and I got to say it looks, well boring really. This was announced several months back but I've been waiting for more details about it since back then it was just the steelbook case, now it comes with some goodies that make up for the lack of artwork. So here is what you get in the box:
  • Extra in-game scene
  • Avatar pack
  • Soundtrack
  • Dynamic Theme
  • Making of feature
I'm betting the soundtrack will be awesome for this game and not sure what to think about the extra in-game scene. This is not the type of game I had expect to have extra stuff added to it so I'm wondering how good this extra gameplay will be. Plus the steelbook is really putting me off getting it, seriously how can you make it so boring. Anyway a few retailers have started taking orders so if you are interested in getting it then make sure to pre-order since the rumour is this will be really limited.

I've put my order down just in case but still unsure, the steelbook is really putting me off it.

Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm Collectors Edition Unboxing

Morning folks,
I did have planned to post up the unboxing for the Assassin's Creed 3 Freedom Edition but I cannot find the photos I took anywhere. So instead I've got next week's unboxing instead, say hello to the Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm Collectors Edition.

Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm Collectors Edition
I love how much effort Blizzard put into their collector editions and this is one of my favourites, as you can see from the picture the box is designed like one of the security doors and opens up like one. The box is high quality cardboard and the scratch marks and dented in to give it that feel like the Zerg have attacked it.

As you can see the top part slips off and everything is slotted in, there is a holding area at the bottom so there is no loose items rattling about to get damaged. Like I said Blizzard go to town on everything they do and nothing feels cheap, it's made to last. So anyway onto what you get inside the box, well first up you get a nice artwork mouse mat (see below) and the soundtrack. Also you get a copy of the game of course, behind the scenes making off disc which for the first time comes on both DVD and Blu-ray. Not many collectors edition have Blu-ray discs for the behind the scene stuff, it's just showing how much the times are changing.

There is also quite a bit of in-game DLC included, most of the Blizzard stuff come with in-game items plus items for their other games as well. So for the Starcraft game you get three exclusive Portraits for your profile (zerg, zerg night elf and zerg pandarian). You also get a new skin for one of the units in the game, the Torrasque Ultralisk which can be seen below.
Looks awesome in the game but anyway that's what you get for Starcraft, for World of Warcraft you get a new in-game pet the Zerg Baneling to follow you around and to join in the pet battles with. For Diablo 3 you get the Queen of Blades wings for you character and a banner with Zerg logos and portraits.

So that's it for the extra DLC items and there is just one more item left to talk about and that is of course the awesome artwork book. Like I keep saying Blizzard go to town and this artwork book is not one of those small A5 paperback books that are only ten pages long. It's A4 hardback and around 140+ pages. Take a look below at the cover and yes the book is grooved so each spine and spike stands out. Every collectors edition so far done by Blizzard comes with one of these amazing artwork books and you can a few hours going through them easily. Check out below of two photos from the book to give you an idea on how nice the artwork is.

Artbook

So that's it folks for this unboxing and I do hope you enjoyed it, hopefully by next week I will find my missing photos and put up the Assassin's Creed 3 unboxing. If not I can also just retake them again but anyway on that note have a good one and I hope you enjoyed this post.

Gears of War Judgement Limited Edition Unboxing

Morning folks,
Thought I would start the weekend off with a small unboxing post and what better then the GAME UK exclusive Gears of War Judgement Limited Edition.

Gears of War Judgement Limited Edition (GAME UK Exclusive)
This was just a copy of the game with a exclusive steelbook plus some extra DLC for the multiplayer. The packaging was just an outer cardboard sleeve that wrapped around the standard box and the steelbook. The DLC that was included was the "Classic Hammerburst" and the "Emergence Era Marcus" character skin (also known as the Young Marcus), both are multiplayer items. Also included was a code for the original Gears of War game since that was a day one offer for everyone who purchased the game.

Standard game and Steelbook
As I said there was a copy of the standard game, the steelbook was one of the nicer ones with Baird being arrested on the one side and then on the back the Locust attacking the city. Inside the steelbook was a picture of the city with the COG flag burning.

Inside artwork

Outside artwork
So that's it folks for the Limited edition of this game, it was not exactly a huge collectors edition but still a nice steelbook none the less. Shame the game did not go full out like Gears of War 3 with the Epic Edition. Anyway until next time have a good one folks and take care.

Future Plans

Good morning readers,
Hope you enjoyed watching the FUSE trailers in this mornings post and that I might have persuaded you to get another game, if not oh well there is always next time. So I have quite a few things I wanted to talk about today which is unusal for me since I only normally do a general blog post once a week and this will be the third one.

Anyway first up pre-orders have started on Diablo 3 and not for the PlayStation 4 but in fact for the PlayStation 3. I honestly could not remember the announcement about this and was a little shocked, anyway I've put my order in mostly because GAME is offering a pre-order bonus. You get a in-game "Infernal Helm" which offers bonus xp when it's equipped and a giant poster (see below) which is doubled sided.

I love my poster collection so it was a must have for me so my pre-order is down, hopefully a few friends will pick it up as well so I can get a team together for a laugh or two. Speaking of upcoming games Sony posted up two trailers showing the unboxing of the Last of Us UK special editions, the Joel and Ellie editions. They are both exactly the same just focusing on one of the main characters, personally I've got my order down for the Ellie edition.

I was a bit uncertain about the canvas wrap box but after seeing it there I've changed my mind, it looks pretty sweet and perfect for this type of game. Also very happy to see the awesome poster is included as well, I've seen a couple of them in stores for display purposes and they look awesome.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So that's for gaming news the last thing I want to talk about is the main topic title for this post and that for future things I want to do for the blog. I'm thinking about doing a round up post each week which will list all the posts I've done for the week with links to them. Of course if there are no posts for the week there won't be a round up post.

Another plan as to do with yesterday when I was on shopto.net website, I cannot remember for the love of life why I was on there but I was searching for a game that was coming out. Anyway as I was searching I was shocked on how many games I found that are coming out that I've not seen in ages, we talking last E3 and beyond. Plus plenty of games I've never heard about but the main ones that stood out to me was the games I remembered seeing that I had forgot about. So what I want to do is create a page on the top of my blog where it will list everything, bit like the next generation and E3 pages where the games will be listed in categories so like keep an eye and must buy.

I want to keep this list updated regularly so once a week or two weeks, of course adding new games as it happened. But this way I won't forget these awesome games that get forgot about because of the main triple A games come out and push them to the side.

That's my idea anyway for the next two updates/changes for the blog, plus I need to start something for Game of the Year this year. I've played through several new releases so far so I need to start a list on where I think certain games stand so far. Right I really could do with finishing this post and get ready for work, if you guys have any ideas you would like on the blog don't hesitate to comment or send me a message on the Facebook page or even my twitter account. Both are linked on the bottom right of the blog, I'm always up for hearing new ideas.

Watch_Dogs

Morning,
Seems Ubisoft went to town last night and put up a new trailer for Watch_Dogs, if that wasn't enough they then showed off the four special editions for the game. I swear I might as well just give my wallet to them since I want three of those editions (not to mention there is three editions of Splinter Cell and three editions of Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flags I want as well).

So let's start off with the trailer I was going to post up today from the PlayStation 4 reveal conference.

Another amazing game I want for my collection, that open few seconds as you walks down the street is just ... wow. I love how it just simple quick buttons to hack anything you want, blowing the power box in the chase. Lifting the street barriers to take out the Police car and then stopping the train to jump onto it, such small details can make such a big difference. Of course this trailer left me with lots of questions like what the hell is going on and who was hacking the cameras to watch him.

The new trailer that went up last night was just a quick two minute thing just confirming that the main character is a Vigilante and you after a group of people, from the looks they called a love one of yours. Still looks amazing and two minutes of plenty of actions finally with a release date and confirmation of the collector editions.

So lets get down to the main point of the post, well first the release date for North America is 19th November and 22nd November for Europe. Nice Christmas present right there for everyone folks, anyway lets talk special editions and collector editions.

Special Edition
First up is the box standard Special Edition, now folks I will be talking about the UK information mostly so don't forget to check your local retailers and online to see what your country is doing. Anyway first up is an exclusive to GAME in the UK, the special edition is the box standard game with a slight edition to the cover art to show that it comes with just one bonus mission. The mission is called the "Breakthrough pack" and rewards you the "_Vehicle Expert Perk"

So the information for this mission goes like this, there is a meeting going on in the city by a group called the "Chicago Club" and some corporate CEO's. Looks like a power play from the sounds of it and your job is to race around the city finding all the scramblers who are blocking anyone from being able to do surveillance on the meeting. Take them out so you can then photo this meeting to upload to the world to expose them. Sounds interesting and the reward is free cars from your underground contact and discounts, so the mission is worth doing.

Uplay Edition
Uplay is the Ubisoft online shop this is their exclusive edition, again you get everything from the Special Edition but this comes with a very nice steelbook. I love my steelbooks and I know quite few collectors, this will be a nice edition since I love how they done the silver background with colour for the character. You also get two extra missions in this edition on top of the Breakthrough, the Palace Pack sees a Police Raid on a Internet mogul who has a huge data bank of profiles in his home. One profile is yours so it's a race against time to get into the Palace to wipe the hard drives before the raid happens. You get two rewards for doing this which is a boost to getting more cash from hacked ATM's and a hacking boost which grants more opportunities to investigate in the network (not sure what that is about, guess we will have to wait and see).

The last mission is called "Signature Shot" and this time a Biometric weapon as been smuggled into the city for the leader of a gang called Black Viceroy's. This weapon will only work for the first person to use so you breaking in to get it for yourself. Of course the reward is the weapon it self, a Biometric Assault rifle and the gang's outfit for your collection.

Vigilante Edition
Now this is a collectors edition and you actually get the mask and cap with it. I know it sounds geeky but I really want this and yes I could see myself wearing those!

So yeah you get a very nice collectors box plus the cap and mask, also added is the sound track from the game. Disappointing though is you only get one bonus mission with this edition and that's the Palace Pack again. I would had really thought they would had included at least one more mission pack with this edition but oh well it's still pretty sweet.

DEDSEC Edition
The final collectors edition is the DEDSEC and like most of Ubisoft main editions it's the figurine again. The figurine is pretty sweet but I don't know, after the Black Flags one I don't think it comes close to the awesomeness. Would had been sweet if they had done a bonnet of a car with him jumping over it like you see in most trailers.

Anyway again you get a collectors outer box that it's store in, the soundtrack is once again added plus a map of the city. You also get a artwork book from the game along with a couple of pin badges and some augmented cards to play around with. The main cool stuff though is the steelbook which is the opposite to the Uplay edition, this time the background is back with a silver/little colour for the character. Add in all three missions as well and the figurine wraps up this edition.

By the way don't get me wrong I do like the figurine, it really shows off the main character with his phone but I do wish they had gone crazy like the Assassin's Creed one. So which one do I want you wondering? well I want the last three, I love steelbooks and collector items. Which one will you be getting folks?

Defiance Ultimate Edition Unboxing

It's about time for me to start getting these Unboxing posts up so I decided to give it a crack this morning and I'm going to start with one of my latest collectors editions. Say hello to the Amazon Exclusive Defiance Ultimate Edition.

Outer box is huge
As you can see in the picture above the outer box is huge, a lot bigger then I was expecting but to show it off I did put my Gears of War in the picture to give you an idea on the size. To be honest I was just expecting some rubbish outer packaging to hold this in but I was surprised how much work has gone into the boxes. Anyway Defiance is a third person shooter MMO that ties in with the new Syfy tv series that started last week, both can effect each other. So what do you get in this box? well the ultimate edition contains the collectors edition (GAME exclusive) plus the season pass and a bag.

Bag and Collectors Edition

You can see in the picture to the left it was all neatly put away and I got to say the collectors edition box is amazing but I will go over that in a second. First let's talk about the bag you get which I was expecting to be really cheap but instead I got very nice high quality bag.

Defiance "Defi" logo is on the out side then plastered across the inside. Two clips plus Velcro fastenings to keep the bag secure. Inside there is slot pocket for paper and could fit a small net book but I would not go out the way for a laptop. Plenty of extra pockets and zip pockets for anything valuable as well. Honestly I was shocked how nice the bag and the material is the proper weather resistant stuff, in fact I've been using this quite a bit recently.

So let's talk about the collectors edition, this I was really impressed with since the box was made to look like a containment unit. You see the collectors edition comes with a figurine of one of the creatures from the game, so they decided to make the box the containment unit to hold it. Take a look below at it was done.

Collectors Edition
There was one problem with this box and that it was tight for the contents, if you take a look below when it's open you can see every fits in snugly. Trying to get the figurine out was a pain and you can hear the clear holding plastic scratching against the box as you pull it out. When trying to put it back in it also catches the opening windows, this could had been cut down slightly to fit better.

Handles on the side to carry it
This was also problem for the rest of the contents since there is a artbook at the bottom and to get it out I had to turn the box upside down and tap it to force it out. Little more thought could had gone a long way with this but I am happy with the effort gone into making the containment unit box, not many companies would spend time making the boxes look cool.

Inside the collectors edition
So in the collectors edition you get the figurine of course, the artwork book and a copy of the game. If you look in the picture below you can also see the soundtrack with some postcards and stickers. There was even a letter from the in game Professor who you start off with inviting you on the expedition that starts the game off with (nice touch). The game does have all the codes for the extra goodies, the season pass for the next several DLC. Extra armour and weapons for the game as well.

Collectors edition content
To be honest it's a box standard contents for a collectors edition. But I will see the artbook and figurine are really nice, I was shocked though since the figurine is not fixed to the base unit. It just sits on top of it so it can fall off if knocked, a clip to hold it in place would had been nice. But overall one of the nicest collectors edition out there and the game is getting better in my books.
