The Daily Grind - Day Thirty Five

Morning folks,
Woke up to find one hell of a collectors edition announced, please please bring it to the UK!! check out Lord of the Rings War in the North collectors edition for the USA below.

It looks amazing! I want one!

You get the quiver looking case, art work book, dvd containing inside look of the music for the game, ranger avatar (xbox 360) suit or for the PS3 a digital theme and of course a copy of the game. Also they listed up a ton of pre-order bonuses for different stores as well, check out xbox360achievments.org for the full story.

-----------------------------------------------------

Evening all,
Shortly after writing the above I went and played some Professor Layton before shooting off to work. Came back and played some more Professor Layton, so I can now say I've clocked it!

It was amazing! another brilliant game in the series and the story kept me hooked all the way through, the ending was very sad though...

I can safely say this game is in my top list and will be kept with the others, no way in hell will I ever trade this in. Very excited now to get my hands on the last spectre to see how Layton and Luke met, and yes it will be a day one purchase and must play. Not many games can keep me griped and suck me into the story but the Layton series does.

Now that I've completed it I think it's time to update my stats again, so be right back while I go update the pages.

-----------------------------------------------------

That was game no.33 for this year, on a roll and need to keep it up. In fact I was thinking earlier before work on what I would play next, I do have the rental game still sitting on the shelf for the last few weeks which is Thor for the xbox. I wanted to fully 100% clock this game but I have heard it takes two play throughs and one must be the super hard mode which can be quite difficult on some of the boss fights, of course that means it will be time consuming and I do have my summer challenge ending in less than two months.

Think my plan will be to play Thor and clock the story, send it back then re rent it at a later day when I have more time for a second play through. I do want to sit down with Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood so think those will be the next two after Thor.

Speaking of the summer challenge I did read that Skyrim does not take place shortly after Oblivion and is in fact 200 years later, so don't really need to clock Oblivion yet. Don't get me wrong I really do want to finish that game but I was worried there would not be enough time with all the prequels I need to work on.

-----------------------------------------------------

Right caught up with my dailies in World of Warcraft, currently sitting on 79 marks now so about half way to the 150 mark.

Going to check my 3DS street pass hits now, fingers crossed for the last piece of the puzzles from the store DS. Two hits and one of them is the store, woot!!!

So that's it then and I've finished all the puzzle panels...kinda sad now, no more collecting... I do hope they update with some more. No luck on the street quest thanks to that shield ghost again so going to go check the Pokedex and then call it a night. Pidove is my new Pokemon today

Anyway that's it for tonight, too tired and got work first thing so catch you all later
~Iznic
